El secreto de sus ojos, la cinta dirigida por Juan José Campanella y producida por Tornasol Films, Haddock Films y 100 Bares Producciones, se estrenará el próximo 13 de agosto en todas las salas de nuestro país.
El elenco de la película escrita por Eduardo Sacheri y por el propio Campanella estará compuesto por los actores Ricardo Darín, Soledad Villamil, Pablo Rago y la participación especial de Guillermo Francella.
La historia del filme girará sobre la vida de Benjamín Espósito, el secretario de un Juzgado Penal de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires que está a punto de retirarse y que decide escribir una novela basada en un caso que lo conmovió treinta años antes, del cual fue testigo y protagonista.
Su obsesión con el brutal asesinato ocurrido en la década del ´70 lo llevará a revivir aquellos tiempos, trayendo al presente no sólo la violencia del crimen y de su perpetrador sino también una profunda historia de amor con su compañera de trabajo, a quien ha amado en silencio durante años.
La novela que escribe Espósito nos llevará a la época en la que Argentina vivía un momento crítico, el aire estaba enrarecido y nada era necesariamente lo que parecía ser, entrelazando los dilemas morales alrededor de la justicia y el castigo.
Cabe destacar que Darín y Villamil ya habían estelarizado juntos el largometraje “El mismo amor, la misma lluvia”, también bajo las órdenes del propio Campanella.

Esposito writes the novel that takes us to the time when Argentina was a critical moment, the air was thin and not necessarily what appeared to be intertwined moral dilemmas about justice and punishment.
Notably Darín Villamil and together they had the feature film starring "The same love, the rain," also under the command of the Campanella.
